Hi there Monero fellow, I have the privilege to have been chosen to present in the upcoming Monerokon!

My talk for this year is called "Hooks and Loops", I'll post the link to the official MK page as soon as it's live.

I've given many talks in the past for the Monero community and outside of it, in both English and Spanish. I know we all love our privacy but I think it's also useful if some of us put our face out in order to (possibly) reach new people.

Due to controversial abuses in past Monerokon instances (AFAIK) and the fact that resources for such a grassroots conference are not super abundant, for the past two years the reimbursement available to speakers tops at €500. While it makes total sense for an European conference, today's costs are way above that for anyone coming from other regions.

I've done my price research and flights from Buenos Aires to Prague on those dates are around $1700, and accommodation for those nights around $300. That leaves $1500 USD I'll have to pocket myself to get there.

Needless to say, that's a lot of money (for me and most other people) so any help I can get to reduce that bill would be something I'd be seriously thankful for. Some members already offered to help but I rather do this publicly.

With our lord Monero at a well deserved $300/coin it would take 5 XMR to cover my costs. I commit to purchase the ticket asap and adjust this number quickly if I reserve for less money, same goes for the hotel room.
Same if suddenly XMR drops like 200% all of a sudden, but we all know that's not gonna happen. ;)
