I've just found out that they accepted my talk proposal for Monerokon 2024, yeye! At first it was going to be remote because it's actually pretty expensive to get me all the way over there from Buenos Aires, where I live.

I've done averages for possible flights and are around the $1500 USD and regular hotel averages to $340 for 3 nights of the congress. Rounding and taking the lousing price of Monero the last weeks, it's around 15XMR.

I can share details to those interested. The talk is not at danger, worst case, I present it remotely. I can also give the funds back if I don't raise much and you provide proof.

UPDATE #1: When this reached the 50% mark I got enough to book the flight before it got more expensive, and I got a better deal than expected at $1271 (10 XMR aprox.)
I'm reducing the 15 XMR originally asked to 14 to account for this.

UPDATE #2: I paid in advance for the hotel room near the venue, I think I got a good deal: $361, roughly 3 XMR today. Reducing the updated 14 XMR ro 13 XMR which are the final expenses. :)
