Goal
About
Our main goal is to educate 5 or more merchants in Oyo, Nigeria, about effectively using Monero (XMR) for peer-to-peer transactions and remittances.
Nigeria holds 41% of Africa's crypto, and a private, fungible money is needed to protect them from the new CBDC's.
We aim to onboard these participants within a month, offering educational presentations and Monero kits in Yoruba and English, which include a Monero bag, "Accepted here" stickers, a Monero flyer, and a Monero mug.
We are seeking funding to cover:
1) Logistics for visiting the merchants in Oyo, Nigeria.
2) Kit expenses for the participants, including XMR bags, mugs, and survey materials.
Our timeline includes visiting all the merchants within a month, with regular updates posted on our Twitter thread,
We will onboard these participants using @cakewallet collecting feedback through surveys to enhance the user experience.
Our objectives are twofold:
1) Identify potential merchants and professionals who can benefit from Monero.
2) Educate individuals on affordable and secure remittance solutions in Nigeria using Monero.
