Goal

I built the Brainchainz App Store for Umbrel, starting with Monero Superbrain and Monero SuperPay. I have since added Monero Superstress and MoneroSpace.

All 4 apps are now publicly available and being actively developed. Here's what they do:

Monero Superbrain turns any Umbrel home server into a full P2Pool mining setup with one click, bundling monerod, P2Pool, xmrig-proxy, and XMRig into a single Umbrel app with a beautiful web dashboard and community-built art themes. You get real-time hashrate, earnings tracking, mining fleet management for LAN/Tailscale miners, and live P2Pool stats, all from your browser. Easily scale into a mining farm by adding miners. New community-created themes keep getting added by Monero users. No terminal, no config files, no Docker commands. Install it, enter a wallet address, and you're mining to P2Pool within seconds.

Monero SuperPay, a self-hosted, non-custodial point-of-sale system for accepting Monero (XMR) payments. It's available both as an Umbrel app and as a native Mac app. It's a custom built inspired by BTCPayServer and MoneroMerchant, but designed specifically for vendors taking IRL payments, such as stores and restaurants, anybody that needs to track multiple orders status at once. Monero SuperPay gives merchants a complete self-hosted POS: product catalog, shopping cart, multi-device point-of-sale (phone/tablet + main screen), order tracking, and sales analytics. It uses a view-only Monero wallet so your spend keys never leave your device. Perfect for in-person or online sales.

Monero SuperStress is a hybrid app combing many tools that make it easy to run Monero's stressnet with the upcoming FCMP++ upgrade. With 1-click install, you get monerod, running fully over TOR, wallet-rpc, rucknium's network monitor, rucknium's spammer wallet, a mempool and block visualizer, with a full dashboard and settings for each of these. It was a complex project but it has added many nodes to the stressnet so that core developers can have expanded data points when testing the new software.

MoneroSpace: a self-hosted version of the http://Monerospace.org mempool visualizer. You can now keep track all your transactions and blocks visually without accessing a third-party server. This runs on your own system, connected to your own Monero node. Verify privately!MoneroSpace started as mempool.space, and was forked into a Monero mempool/block visualizer. I adapted that fork to run on Umbrel, without any design changes, only backend patches to keep the functionality the same for users.

Why it matters: Monero thrives when hashrate is decentralized and when real people actually use it for payments. The apps available in the Superbrain App Store provide a full suite of tools that makes mining and payments dead-simple for the 100k+ Umbrel users who already run home servers and care about sovereignty.

If even a small percentage of Umbrel and Mac users adopt these apps, we get thousands of new decentralized miners plus actual merchant adoption, and stressnet development support, exactly what Monero needs to grow stronger.

Current state: All four apps are live, stable, and under active development. Superbrain beta testers are receiving consistent P2Pool payouts. SuperPay is already being used by merchants with full store files, multi-wallet support, pin-code lock, QR device pairing, and prices displayed in XMR. Core features across the suite (dashboards, earnings tracker, fleet management, community themes for Superbrain; catalog/POS/analytics for SuperPay) are built and polished. SuperPay's website is built and live: MoneroSuperPay.com

I’m actively fixing bugs and adding improvements based on direct feedback from the tester community.

What I’m proposing:

1 year of continued development and maintenance for the entire Monero Superbrain + SuperPay ecosystem, split into 4 quarterly milestones at ~5 XMR each (20 XMR total):

Q1 (retro): The full builds of all three apps + beta tester organization and fixes already completed.

Q2: Polish, onboarding wizards, mobile UI, official Umbrel App Store submission (for the Brainchainz store), and Mac app refinements.

Q3: Community outreach to Umbrel/self-hosting/Monero merchant communities, advanced features (profitability dashboard, payout notifications, P2Pool visualizer, language translations, enhanced POS tools).

Q4: UmbrelOS dashboard widget, full documentation, security upkeep, contributor onboarding for long-term sustainability, plus further merchant/miner onboarding and educational content for Monero, P2Pool, and the Super suite.

The apps are fully open source and already functional. Happy to answer any questions or do a live demo. I'm building this publicly and make posts for every update, just search my X profile for 'super'
