Hi, Battery__LB here aka Toni, asking help for my brother Michel with his kidney transplant preparations as soon as doctors confirm

My brother Michel 38 years old is a person with disability because of a car accident that happened 9 years ago, since then I’m the main person to look after him, from basic needs to stretching (exercise) to showering

2 months ago I noticed he isn’t peeing enough and his feet started to swallow, I took him to hospital and they told me he is having kidney failure, and gave him treatment to observe if his body will respond which unfortunately it didn’t happen

here my nightmare have started, searching for government hospitals to do dialysis which I couldn’t find any where we are located, private hospital we’re quite expensive since we don’t have insurance, finally found the cheapest for $25 per session but in a different city which is 1 hour+ by car away from me and he needs x3 / week so total of 12 sessions per month

Here I had to search for help, visited Ministry of health and organizations which they couldn’t offer any help, until I met an employee at MOH and told me what should I do but results are not guaranteed, and after awaiting 10 days I managed to get help a reduce of $10 per session instead of $25 it became $15 which I highly appreciate it

The other issue is the medicine which is extremely costly and I don’t know for how long he must take before his body can accept a kidney transplant

•PHOSPHOLOW
•EPREX 4000
•ONE ALPHA 1mcg
•Mena Q7 360mcg

These medicines are just too expensive to me to handle, they cost $548 / month and the im worst part is they are not always available at pharmacies (this what they told me) hence need to order the pharmacy at least 2~3 sets so I can have enough time before fully consumed and ordered again

Note: a good hearted Monero bro (without mentioning names) helped me huge and I can’t even thank him enough, but I’m in a situation where I have to do this for unknown time, it could be couple of months to more than a year, depends how quick his body is ready for a kidney transplant

This fundraise will help me with his monthly costs so I can save enough getting ready whenever it’s time for his kidney transplant

Also, the days that he have dialysis sessions I have to spend it with him almost all day long, from driving him to hospital to waiting appx 4.5 hours then driving him back home and losing that day to be at the shop

Monthly cost:
$180 for dialysis session
$548 for medicine
Total of $728

I’m terribly in need to get his treatment secured for the next 10-12 months which I will be in need of $8736 but as I mentioned above I got a huge help and I’m still short of $6450 which comes to 19.5 XMR

The purpose of this fundraiser is mainly to help him and help myself to be able to save enough amount so when doctors give approval for kidney transplant

This is a huge amount for me to arrange and maintain as it all happened suddenly, I really appreciate every help no matter even it’s a little amount to manage his treatment journey. I am not sure nor the doctors how long he have to go through before kidney transplant, I even decided when time comes to sell even my car which can get me around $5,000 to use for the transplant
