On August 18, I rottenwheel, sent ~33.3 XMR to a person who I thought was the administrator and trusted escrow partner, in the middle of a XMR-to-USD peer-to-peer KYC-free exchange, with someone else. Unbeknownst to me, I was being victim of some social engineering, username squatting scam, as that person had sent me 100 and 50 dollars beforehand, successful trades. The one for 5k, nope. And I also noticed the squatted username by the "escrow" partner too late, unfortunately.

Haven't heard from since, nuked chats and handles. Don't have a history log to back it up with besides a public Telegram group chat where I reported what had happened and all tx. details: tx. ID, keys, proofs, et. al. It's recorded in my wallet, to worsen the pain.

This Kuno is primarily just a pun on myself, but if anyone feels generous, pity, or just would like to chip in for the sake of it, that would be greatly appreciated. That mone came straight from my savings. Stings. If I don't replenish, I'll just earn it back in the long run, I guess.
