Monerofx is a project created to address risk management for merchants, miners, and individuals in Monero. We are developing a options exchange for Monero -- where users can swap derivative contracts of XMR.

We think this is extremely important tool in the growing buisness onboarding of Monero. Right now, it is too risky for moderatly sized business to accept and hold Monero through price volatility. This exchange product offering addresses the need for practical hedging in a non-speculative way (perpetual swaps), and we think it could ignite small/large business onboarding. An option market will also serve use to miners of XMR -- whose business's are primarily exposed to Monero's price.

We have developed our matching/risk engine CEX (not DEX) in the past few months -- between a few contributers part-time. The funding is intended to be used in financing a beta launch of the options platform. We also intend to the pursuit of implementing these CEX controls into a decentralized and censorship resistant framework. The funding is also to cover the network and security related costs of the beta release.

We are in need of financing to cover costs to launch the beta options CEX - and further development of the v2 DEX more aligned with Monero's promise of censorship resistant transactions.
