KUNO

CriptoHub is a project aimed to help our people (Neuquén Province, Argentina) to learn about and benefit from the use of cryptocurrencies. Monero is an essential part of that goal. That's the reason why this fundraiser.

The objective is to make "bolsas de compras" (see Context) with Monero designs, and offer them to merchants and street vendors, at low prices, for resell. This way, the Monero message will spread fast and effectively.
The fundraiser goal is 70% of cost, the remaining amount (30%) will be covered by sales.

Context: "bolsas de compras" are reusable bags used to carry the everyday shopping in nearby stores and supermarkets.

+Context: near the commercial zone, abound street vendors who earn their living by taking every work opportunity that come their way. This project also would help them.

Prices and amounts

The provider offer 200 u (minimum) for 95k pesos argentinos (ARS), at this moment (Nov.1st). The price was estimated according to the printing area. Considering actual conversion rate this is 0.64 XMR. Our goal is 70% of that amount: 0.45 XMR.

Details

Once received the product, we'll offer it according to this prices:

>= 20 units: 30% unit cost
>= 10 units: 50% unit cost
< 10 units: 70% unit cost

The price raises with smaller quantities to encourage the resell, and achieve greater reach.

With each update we'll publish the final amounts.

# UPDATE

12/11: The fundraiser funds was sold. After fees, we selled 0.45569 XMR for 68,200 ARS (886 ARS/USD; 169 USD/XMR).
17/11: The purchase was made. The seller tell us preparing period can be about 30 days.

Due to provider problems, there was some limitations for the design (colors and printing size). We decided to buy black and white bags with orange printing color, and a smaller design (see images).

5/12: the seller confirm us that our bags entered the production line.

Friday 15/12, the bags had come !

black: 102 u

>= 10 units: 190 ARS c/u (40% unit cost)
< 10 units: 350 ARS c/u (75% unit cost)
