About Me
I’m Muhammad Haruna Bala, also known as Techie Abba, a developer advocate and content creator focused on making technology accessible to the Hausa-speaking community. Over the last four years, I’ve built a significant online presence with 12,000 YouTube subscribers, 200,000 TikTok followers, and 40,000 Facebook followers. My content spans gadget reviews, tech insights, and simplified tech explanations, helping bridge the gap between innovation and audiences across Nigeria and West Africa.
Through collaborations, I’ve created targeted content in Hausa to break down complex tech concepts, enhancing digital literacy. My mission is to empower millions to navigate the digital world confidently.
Why Local Languages?
Languages like Hausa are essential for reaching millions of people, particularly in West Africa, where Hausa is spoken by over 70 million native speakers. It is a powerful tool for spreading knowledge, fostering digital literacy, and bridging the technological divide.
About the Project
This project aims to create educational content in Nigerian and West African languages, focusing on Hausa. With cryptocurrency growing in Nigeria, the goal is to introduce Monero its benefits, tools, and practical uses for individuals and businesses.
I’ve previously created videos about Monero with the community's support, and I’ll link those videos below.

What to Expect:
Creating 10-Minute Engaging Videos
We’ll create either a series of short videos or one longer video, depending on the topic and the best way to engage the audience. Each 10-minute video shared will add 0.5 XMR to keep the campaign moving. Your support will help us educate and raise awareness.
You can find the Monero videos on my pages:

Additionally, we will be publishing two articles about Monero every week. These articles will explore different aspects of Monero, from its technology to real-world use cases, helping the community understand how to leverage this cryptocurrency for financial empowerment. These articles will be accessible in Hausa to ensure the content is easily understood.
Project Objectives
Empowering Individuals: Equip Hausa speakers in Nigeria and other West African countries with practical knowledge of Monero’s features and use cases.
In many communities, access to information about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology remains limited, especially in local languages. By creating content in Hausa, we aim to break down the complexities of Monero, a privacy-focused cryptocurrency, and demonstrate its value as a secure and efficient digital currency. This content will include simple, easy-to-understand explanations and real-world use cases, empowering individuals to make informed decisions about integrating Monero into their daily lives. By providing them with knowledge, we aim to give them the tools to confidently navigate the world of digital finance, ultimately helping them make the most out of opportunities that the digital economy offers.
Funding Needs
We need funding for:
Video Production: High-quality video tailored for local languages.
Article Creation: Informative written content about Monero.
By supporting this project, you’ll help bridge the digital divide and empower communities across Nigeria and West Africa with vital tech skills for the future.
Join us in making technology accessible and empowering for millions across Nigeria and West Africa!
