My name is Max. I am a merchant based in Argentina and an active member of the Monero community.
I own Supermercado 66, the first supermarket in Argentina to accept cryptocurrency — specifically Monero. My involvement in Monero is practical rather than theoretical: I focus on real-world usage, merchant integration, and circular economic flow.
Within my business:
-XMR is accepted for everyday purchases.
-Staff uniforms include Monero branding.
-Customers are educated about privacy-focused digital cash.
-Emphasis is placed on circulation rather than speculation.
This environment has allowed me to test real merchant adoption under everyday retail conditions.
I am requesting 4 XMR via Kuno to support 12 months of structured work focused on strengthening Monero’s circular economy in Argentina.
This initiative is centered on practical implementation and measurable progress.
•Merchant Onboarding
Assist new businesses in integrating XMR payments.
Provide operational guidance based on real retail experience.
Publish short case summaries documenting each integration.
Retail Usage Research
-Document transaction flow and usability.
-Identify friction points from a merchant perspective.
-Share findings with the community when relevant.
Transparent Reporting
Publish a public progress update every 3 months.
Reports may include:
-Number of transactions processed.
-New merchants onboarded.
-Events attended.
-Educational material produced.
Community Engagement
-Participate in regional crypto meetups and events.
-Present Monero as functional private digital cash.
-Promote circular usage models.

Events:
Target: 3–5 regional crypto meetups over 12 months (Argentina + neighboring countries where feasible).
Timeline: 1 per quarter minimum.
Merchant onboarding goal:
Target: 5–10 new merchants within 12 months.
Focus: small retail businesses where integration friction is low.
Budget allocation (4 XMR total):
• ~40% Travel & event participation
• ~30% Time allocation for onboarding & follow-up
• ~20% Documentation & educational materials
• ~10% Operational/testing costs
These 4 XMR are specifically allocated for this initiative only.
Any costs beyond the requested 4 XMR will be personally covered by me. This proposal will not seek additional funding beyond this amount.

Why This Matters?
Merchant adoption remains one of the most critical layers for sustainable Monero growth.
Without circulation:
-Usage remains limited.
-Adoption remains speculative.
-Circular economic dynamics cannot develop.
By documenting and expanding practical implementation in Argentina, this initiative aims to create a replicable regional model.
