Hello Monero fam,

This is Ibrahim from Jordan. My brother Youssef and I run a small donut and waffle shop, but we’ve got bigger plans. We’re thinking about taking our business to festivals and events and selling donuts, waffles, and other tasty items.

We looked into renting a kiosk, but it was too expensive. A mobile business makes more sense for us - no fixed spot, just freedom to move. With a food truck, we can join public school events, birthday parties, and festivals.

We’re planning to buy a used food truck and expand our offerings with an ice cream machine, a juice maker, and potato fries. In just two months, the event season kicks off in busy, tourist-heavy spots like the Jerash Festival. A food truck isn’t just a great business - it’s a mobile way to promote Monero. We can park it wherever the crowds are, from Jerash to Petra, the Roman Theatre, school events, and even Office Street in the mornings.

The truck costs 4,700 Jordanian Dinar (JD), and a one-year license is 480 JD. Right now, we’ve saved 1,200 JD, but we still need 3,980 JD (about 5,470 USD, with 1 JD = 1.41 USD). On top of that, we want to repaint the truck, add Monero-themed decor and lights, and get a reliable electric generator.

We’ve already got the equipment for donuts, waffles, and fries, and we’re planning to buy a juice machine and ice cream machine - hopefully in installments if they’re new - allowing us to offer more items for sale.

Our current menu needs an update to include these new items, and we’ll add instructions for installing Cake Wallet to pay with Monero. We’ve handed out tons of menus to parents at schools and our shop before, and we’ve got a tablet ready for customer payments. To top it off, we’d love to add a Monero design light to the truck’s exterior for the festival season starting in late May. We have T-shirts we made earlier with the shop name and Monero logo on the back.
