Hi guys, I didn’t think I would end up doing this, but I hope it can be the first step in a journey of a thousand steps. As stated in the title, I have hit a hard patch due to losing my job, and I know I should have savings, but the economy in which I live in is a bit difficult ( I am in Zimbabwe ). I am a qualified software developer, and at the moment I’m hunting for jobs online ( happy for you to refer me to some ) but I have also realized there is an oversupply of IT freelancers as well. Since losing my job, I have moved in with a friend who also rents a room within a house, so the situation is a bit uncomfortable. With the money, I aim to get a few groceries, and subscribe for data so that I can be online.
