About
For the past three years, I have been educating people for free about Bitcoin, Monero, financial privacy, and the history of money. My mission is simple: knowledge should not be a privilege. I am one of the few people on the ground teaching in person, directly engaging with communities to ensure that financial education reaches those who need it most.
My Expanding Team and Growing Needs:
What started as a solo initiative has now grown into a collective effort. I am training a team of educators, video editors, and content creators to expand the impact of this mission. However, scaling this project comes with additional expenses. To sustain and grow this effort, I need funds to:
- Pay salaries for educators who are joining me in teaching financial privacy and Bitcoin.
- Compensate video editors and designers to create educational materials and videos that reach a broader audience.
- Cover travel expenses for myself and my team to reach remote and underserved communities.
- Provide materials and tools such as mobile devices, printed resources, and interactive content.
- Fund meals and lodging for the team during workshops in distant locations.
In the communities where I work, I often need to make donations of essential items like food, mobile phones, and other materials. These donations are crucial to support the education process, particularly in vulnerable areas where resources are scarce, and help remove obstacles that limit access to knowledge.
My Work (A Brief Overview):
Uruguay:
I’ve conducted workshops and educational programs in public schools and vulnerable neighborhoods like Barrios Unidos (La Teja, Montevideo), where I introduced Bitcoin to local businesses such as barbershops, gyms, and small markets. These efforts are helping to foster grassroots adoption of decentralized financial systems.
Argentina:
This year, I brought members of the Pilagá indigenous community, who live in marginal conditions in Formosa, to La BitConf in Buenos Aires. For many of them, this was their first time leaving their province. They participated in the event, selling their handcrafted goods for sats (Bitcoin) and sharing their culture with the broader Bitcoin community. Previously, I lived for over a month in their community, where I:
- Provided daily breakfasts for children.
- Taught workshops on Bitcoin and Monero.
- Organized reading sessions with snacks.
- Supplied tools like mobile phones to support their education.
Additionally, I hosted a diploma program on privacy and Bitcoin, "My First Coinjoin", in Buenos Aires, teaching participants advanced techniques for financial sovereignty and privacy.
Paraguay:
I am actively developing educational content in Guaraní to make Bitcoin knowledge more accessible in Paraguay's native language. I’ve also participated in events like the Halving Party in Ciudad del Este and conducted workshops in schools, orphanages, and homes across Ciudad del Este, Coronel Oviedo, and Asunción.
Mexico:
I’ve been invited to Monerotopia to teach about Monero and financial privacy. This international event provides an opportunity to expand the reach of privacy-focused education to broader audiences.
Spain:
In September, I was a speaker at WoB2024 in Madrid, bringing Bitcoin education to Europe and sharing my mission of empowering people through knowledge.
Why I Need Your Support:
This project has grown beyond a one-person effort. As I build a team to ensure a greater reach and impact, I need financial support to make it sustainable. Your contributions will help cover:
- Salaries for the educators, video editors, and content creators joining the mission.
- Travel expenses for the team to conduct workshops in remote areas and attend international events.
- Logistics and lodging costs during teaching programs.
- Production of educational materials like videos, games, and printed resources.
- Meals and support for children and communities during the workshops.
- Donations of food, mobile phones, and essential supplies that help communities access the education they need.
How You Can Help:
Your support through Kuno, using Monero, will directly fund this growing effort. By contributing, you are not only helping sustain a team of passionate educators but also empowering underserved communities with essential financial knowledge. Together, we can ensure that education about privacy and financial sovereignty reaches even the most vulnerable.
Thank you for helping us build a future where knowledge is a tool for everyone, not a privilege for a few.
