I begin by saying the difficult situation that I am going through at the moment in the Health area, since it is a bit complicated because unfortunately many hospitals do not have the resources or supplies to attend or offer an optimal service, so to speak.

Getting a little bit into the urgency of my post, the reason is what I am suffering from since November: My Thyroid.

In November, I decided to make an appointment to see an endocrinologist because I was not feeling well, I was sweating frequently and it was no longer normal to continue with my weight gain, I underwent the tests needed for the appointment plus a thyroid echo.

As a result of that consultation I was given a mild treatment to calm the pain and control the hormones, but that treatment lasted only one month.

For almost a month now I have been going to the doctor again because things started to get more complicated because now I was losing my appetite and my throat started to hurt so much that every time I went to rest in bed I couldn't stay in a comfortable position because I felt like I was suffocating, and I had little bumps on my neck.

When the doctor evaluated me and saw that my neck was not normal, she asked me to change endocrinologist and to go to the emergency room because the pain is not normal, I cannot digest food because of the level of inflammation that I have in these days.

I will probably be sent for a biopsy and surgery. In Venezuela, the country where I live, medications and medical exams, preoperative and operations are expensive.
