My name is Mahdi, and I am writing from Iran to ask for help for my family, especially my two brothers, Abolfazl and Hadi, who both live with severe disabilities and require constant care.

Abolfazl was born in 2016 and has very severe spastic cerebral palsy. He cannot sit, even with assistance, and he is unable to control his body or perform any part of his daily care independently. He spends most of his time lying down and depends completely on us for eating, bathing, changing diapers, taking medication, and every other basic need.

Abolfazl also suffers from severe curvature of the spine and painful muscle spasms. Moving him or changing his position can cause him significant pain. He previously underwent surgery on the tendons in his legs, but unfortunately it did not improve his condition. His spinal deformity has become a serious concern, and he now needs specialist examinations and possible spinal surgery. The medical evaluations, treatment, medication, diapers, and continuous daily care are far beyond what our family can afford.

The main difficulty in our home is providing Abolfazl with safe and continuous care. As he grows older and heavier, every basic task becomes more difficult. The situation is made even harder by our mother's health. She previously had Grade 3 breast cancer, underwent a mastectomy and six sessions of chemotherapy, and continues to suffer from weakness in one arm. Because of this, she cannot safely lift or care for Abolfazl by herself.

My other brother, Hadi, was born in 2003 and has profound, nonverbal autism. He has never been able to attend school, communicate through speech, or live independently. He must be supervised at all times. He experiences severe agitation and behavioral crises and may scream for as long as ten hours in a single day. During some episodes, he may hurt himself, other family members, or damage objects around him. These behaviors are not deliberate; they are part of his serious condition. Caring for him requires patience, constant attention, appropriate medical support, and a safe environment.

Our father has muscular dystrophy and diabetes. His physical weakness prevents him from doing the demanding caregiving work that Abolfazl and Hadi require. He is retired, and his small pension is the family's only regular income. After deductions and basic household expenses, it is not enough to cover the medication and medical needs of four ill or disabled family members, along with diapers, food, and other essential living costs.

I am 28 years old and have become the main caregiver in our home. I help feed and clean Abolfazl, change his diapers, move him carefully, manage Hadi's difficult episodes, and support my parents with their health needs. Because neither of my parents can care for my brothers alone, it is extremely difficult for me to leave the home and maintain stable employment. I do occasional work when circumstances allow, but I do not have a reliable income.

We have sought assistance through different organizations, but we have not found stable support that matches the seriousness and complexity of our situation. Our family is exhausted physically, emotionally, and financially. We are doing everything we can to keep caring for Abolfazl and Hadi with dignity, but we can no longer manage these responsibilities without help.

Funds raised through this campaign will be used for Abolfazl's specialist examinations, spinal treatment and possible surgery, necessary medication, diapers and daily care supplies; Hadi's medical and behavioral care; the health needs of our parents; and, if possible, hiring a trusted caregiver for limited periods so that the family can safely manage the care of both brothers. A portion may also be used for essential food and household expenses when medical and caregiving costs leave the family without enough for basic needs.

We can provide official disability identification cards, medical records, photographs, and videos to verify the circumstances described here. We will use every donation carefully and only for the health, care, and essential needs of our family.
