Hello, my name Hanan, wife of Elias and mother for three kids: two boys 7 and 5 years, and baby girl 9 months. We was living in Damascus, where my husband working in army in time of old government. When problems start last year, the authorities begin arrest people who before working in army. We must change our house two times before we move to his village in Latakia. My husband lose his job and we sell everything we have. We working in olive and lemon fields, but fire last year burn all trees, no more work.

On 16 July, my husband go to city to work in bakery, police stop him and take him to prison. Tuk tuk driver call me and tell what happen; I go ask about him but I cannot see him. My husband not make any mistake, only problem is his old job in army. I try three days to ask about him but no result; I know people arrested in this way, their end is bad. I look for help but no help. My children not safe here, lawyer tell me nothing can do.

Only solution is leave Syria to Turkey, but we need passports, visa, and car. Passport cost 200 dollar each, we need 800 for four persons. Visa cost 145 dollar each, 580 for four. Car driver ask 350 dollar, and we need additional amount (500 dollar) for house and food until find a job Total is 2,230 dollar.

This very important for our safety; my children are small, and we have nothing more to sell, last thing I sell was my wedding ring.

Please have sympathy with us and help if possible, for the children whose only fault is their father was working in army.
