Every minute of the show ye hear takes five to ten hours of pre-production and production to create. It takes several weeks sitting in a dark quarters to produce a new episode of CaptainBlackbeard Radio. That's why we need yer help to keep the lantern lights lit and the ship from being hijacked by repossession while making new episodes.


We also wish to always be creating new things and barnstorming new technology. If ye have followed the show, ye know we have had quite a few sponsors over the different seasons upon the Dark Seas. However, if we can pioneer crowdfunding a pirate project like this, it could be a lighthouse and beacon for others to create to their heart's content with a way of funding their projects.


We also wish to pioneer crowdfunding pirate projects like this because we would like to get new episodes out to ye more regularly, around every 4-6 weeks. Instead of the haphazard few times a year that we do now.
